Purpose
The Christopher Center hosts a One Button Studio (OBS) available for current students, faculty, and staff to record various projects in a professional video studio.
Overview
The following includes steps to schedule the OBS, troubleshoot the OBS, and all terms and conditions that patrons using the OBS agree to.

Procedure
1. Reservation of OBS must coincide with the Christopher Center's hours of operation.
a. See One Button Studio Reservations procedure.
2. Patron with reservation for OBS will need to check the key out and sign user responsibility form at the Circulation Desk on the 2nd floor of the Christopher Center.
a. Manager will check out OBS key to patron and provide Tier 1 support.
b. After Tier 1 support is implemented by Circulation Manager, a note will be put in that patron's record by that manager with the following: OBS Trained, Date, Manager Initials.
3. Flash drives will be available for purchase, in the event that a patron has not brought their own.
a. Flash drives will be sold at the current market price.
4. Support for the OBS will be implemented in a 3 tiered model that involves Circulation Managers, the IT Help Desk, and IT staff.
a. See One Button Studio Support procedure.
i. If an iTicket is put in anyone who is scheduled afterwards should be notified that the equipment is down by manager on duty.
ii. To ensure communication regarding the status of the OBS a message will be put into the OBS key item record that will pop up when it is checked in that prompts the student assistant to ask the patron if there were any technical
issues with the OBS during their use.
5. When patron is finished using the OBS, they must return the OBS key to the Circulation Desk on the 2nd floor and accompany the manager to the room to perform exit inspection.
6. Terms & Conditions of Use:
a. The patron indicated on the user responsibility form is responsible for any damage to the room and equipment within that is incurred during their reservation time slot.
b. The Studio may be reserved for use during the posted hours.
c. Any rearrangement of furniture and equipment must be returned to the appropriate configuration.
d. Users are responsible for coordinating the delivery and removal of any additional props, set pieces, or other peripherals necessary for their session.
e. Room should never be locked when in use by patron.
f. Window should remain free of any coverings while OBS is in use by patron.
g. No food or drink permitted.
h. If there are any technical issues with the equipment in the room they will report it immediately to the Circulation Desk.
i. Studio capacity (1-4) must be respected.
j. Users are expected to monitor their belongings, especially valuables, at all times while using library facilities. Christopher Center for Library and Information Resources is not responsible for loss or damage to any
article(s).
k. Failure to follow the rules of the room can result in fines and/or suspension of room use by the patron.
7. A manager must check the following:.
a. Both room lights and studio lights are turned off
b. Microphone, Camera, and both Monitors are turned off
c. Power Strip is left on
d. No signs of damage to the room or any of the equipment.
