Lost & Found: Lockers
Purpose:
The Christopher Center has lockers on the first and third floor which are available for patron use. At the end of the school
year, all keys should be turned in and all lockers cleaned out.
Overview:
The Christopher Center has lockers on the first and third floor which are available for patron use. At the end of each semester, all keys should be turned in and all lockers cleaned out. Any items left in the lockers will be removed and be discarded.

Locker Master Key
Procedure
1. At the end of fall semester, spring semester and summer sessions, all locker keys should be returned and all lockers emptied, and lost and found emptied out, all items will be thrown out, donated. recycled, or sent to VUPD depending on what it is.
2. Using the CCLIR Locker Master Key, the CMEve has the key, check the following lockers for items left:
a. First Floor: 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 11, 14, 20, 21, 22, 23, 27, 28, 31, 32, 35, 36
b. Third Floor: 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 15, 17, 21
3. An attempt should be made to contact the patrons who have left items behind. Their names can be found on the Locker Agreement
forms located in the white binder in the bottom drawer of the cabinet between the student’s workstations at the Circulation Desk.
4. Items found will be placed in the lost and found section depending on what the item is:
a. Non-valuable items or items without identifying information should be placed in the box in the second floor copy room
b. Personal items should be placed on the lost and found shelf located on the north wall of the Circulation Desk. (ie: Backpacks,
non-official paperwork with a name, books with patron’s name in them, flash drives, etc.)
c. Valuable items will be stored on top of the safe in the closet inside the Circulation Office. (ie: wallets, phones, monies,
passports, credit cards, etc.)
5. VUPD will pick up the items and decide what needs to be done with them.
a. If a patron returns to pick up an item that is no longer here they should be directed to VUPD.
