Question:
How do I earn credit for those exams that I have taken?
Answer:
Order the official transcripts or official certificates to be sent directly from the examining board to Valparaiso University.
- Advanced Placement Official Transcript
- College Level Examination Program Official Transcript
- International Baccalaureate Program
- Cambridge International AS & A Levels
Question:
Will credit by examination credit fulfill CORE 110 or CORE 115?
Answer:
No. Credit by examination credit may not be used to satisfy Valparaiso University’s CORE 110 or 115 requirement.
Question:
May I take a credit by examination after I've registered at Valparaiso University?
Answer:
No. All credit by examination must be taken before matriculation to Valparaiso University. The only exception is the CLEP Exam. Students earn credit by CLEP exam only in a subject they have not already taken at Valparaiso University or another institution.
Question:
I have my Student Grade Report that was sent to me from the Examining Board of the exam I took. Will Valparaiso University accept my Student Grade Report?
Answer:
No. Only official transcripts issued directly from the Examining Board to Valparaiso University will be accepted. For information on how to request an official transcript for the exams you took, please refer to the Policy under the Undergraduate Credit By Examination page.
