Open an SPSS File From Blackboard Learn

Do you need to open an SPSS file downloaded from Blackboard Learn? Here's how.

Step-by-step guide

If you're on a campus lab computer and logged into Blackboard Learn, first download the file to the computer you're using. Once it's downloaded:

  1. In SPSS, click File, then hover over Open, then click on Data.

  2. Click on the "Up one level" option four times located to the right of the navigation bar.

  3. The pathway to the downloaded file is "C on CLR-...", Users, *your ValpoNet username*, Downloads.

  4. Click Open to view the data.


Using your personal device?

If you're using your personal laptop/computer, then in step 3 click on "This PC" instead of "C on CLR-..."
