Remove a MacOS Profile
Remove a MacOS Profile
If you were registered on the VU-Secure wireless network and switch over to the valpo-net secure wireless network, you may want to remove the now-obsolete configuration profile from your Mac computer or laptop.
Step-by-step guide
- Open the System Preferences app.
- Navigate to Profiles.
- Select the "Secure WiFi" option(s).
- Press the minus (-) button and follow the prompts to confirm deleting the profile.
- Repeat the process if there are multiple listings for VU-Secure.
You may also wish to forget the VU-Secure network so that you don't get error messages in the event the computer still attempts to connect to the network.
It's not required that you remove the profile, but it's always a good idea to keep a cleaner device by removing what you no longer need or use.
