Turning Off Blackboard Email Notifications

Blackboard Email notifications can become tiresome. To adjust your Blackboard Email notifications follow the step-by-step guide below.

Step-by-step guide to turn off Blackboard Email notifications

  1. Log into Blackboard at blackboard.valpo.edu

  2. Click on your name in the left hand menu

  3. In the left hand column under 'system settings' and 'global notification settings' click on Email notifications

  4. Under Email notifications you turn off a variety of Blackboard emails including: new grades and feedback, new messages, new discussion messages, new content added, new and upcoming due dates, past due items, and new courses available

  5. Once you are finished click save
