How to Use Gmail to Send Emails to Class Roster List

Have you ever wanted to email your classes directly in Gmail rather than through your Blackboard course? Find the step by step guide on how to do so below.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Log into your Valparaiso University Gmail account
  2. Draft a message
  3. In the 'to' section begin to type of the name of course
    1. Example: CORE 123 FA00
  4. Title your message
  5. Type your message
  6. Send


This will send an email to all of your students in that section without you having to log into Blackboard and manually send an email to your class roster list that way.
