Import & Map Content from Another Syllabus

Simple Syllabus allows instructors the ability to import and map content into your syllabus from another syllabus in the syllabus library. Clicking the “import” tool icon when in edit mode will open the import content wizard that includes only three steps: 1) select source, 2) map content, and 3) confirm the import.

Step-by-step guide

Click the Pencil Icon to edit the simple syllabus you want to import from another simple syllabus.

Click the Import Icon to start the Import Wizard

Step #1 Select source

Click the Term Drop-down list and select

Select the Simple Syllabus to import from the list

Step #2 Map content

To select individual components to import or not to import, Click the Advanced Button

Use the drop-down list to Select those Components you do not want to import or to create a new component



Click the Finalize Button when to proceed

Step #3 Confirm Import

Click the Start import of the following content Button

Components have copied, Click the Close Button to finish

Click the Pencil Icon to edit the syllabus

Review the components for accuracy and make any changes

Scroll down and Click the Submit Button

Click URL Buttons to copy the links and or Click the Close Button to return to your Dashboard
