Use WebStorage

WebStorage is used to remotely access data stored on your network drive via a web browser. WebStorage provides students, faculty, and staff with web-based access to network shares (H:\ and S:\). Files can be viewed, downloaded from the network to a local computer for editing, and uploaded from your local computer or external storage to the network.

Login

  1. Visit https://webstorage.valpo.edu

  2. Login with your ValpoNet credentials.

  3. If you have not yet used Webstorage, you will be asked to enable two-step verification, please follow the directions provided, as seen below.

  4. If you have set up two-step verification, the screen below is where you would enter the code from your Google Authenticator app.

  1. Once you have successfully logged in and passed the two-factor authentication, you will see your network folders in a list on the left hand side.

Download Files

  1. On the left hand side, navigate to the file you wish to download.

  2. Single-click on the file in the right hand panel.

  3. Click the Download button in the toolbar.

  4. Select the location for the file to be saved and click "Save."

  5. You can now work with the file and make edits.

Upload Files

  1. After completing your edits, save the file in its current location.

  2. Return to the WebStorage tab in your browser.

  3. Click the Upload button in the toolbar.

  4. Select the document you wish to upload and click upload.
