Add LinkedIn Learning as a Graded Assessment in Blackboard
FOR FACULTY: Adding interactive Content to your Blackboard such as LinkedIn training course can help to enhance student engagement and enrich the student experience. This article demonstrates how to add LinkedIn as a graded assessment that is also recorded in the Grade Center.
Step-by-step guide
1) With a learning module or content area, Click the Build Content Drop-Down Arrow to display the menu
2) Click on Linkedin Learning
3) From Linkedin Learning, Click Search for content box
4) Type the name of a topic to search for (in this example, we’ll search for Microsoft Excel Training)
5) Scroll to select a topic
6) Click, the Add Button
7) Scroll Down & Click the Confirm Button to add the LinkedIn Learning content to your Blackboard
The new Linkedin Learning content is added to the Blackboard
8) Click on the Name link to launch the training
The LinkedIn Learning training course launches
9) To exit Linkedin Learning and return to Blackboard, Click the name of the Blackboard course in the upper left-hand corner of the screen
You can manage your LinkedIn assessment for example adjust points and dates.
10) Click the Arrow on the right side of the name for a drop-down list of options
11) Adjust points, enter due dates, edit the description, browse, attach files, and set web link information and standard options.
12) Click the Submit Button when finished
The LinkedIn training course assignment is automatically added as a column in the Grade Center
Use the drop-down list to access the menu of options
