Brightspace: Sandbox Help Documentation

The goal of this article is to provide helpful resources, tutorials, and other information related to the

Brightspace Learning Management System (LMS) platform.

Brightspace and the Valpo project team are here to support you every step of the way.

Vendor Support Resources

Each vendor has dedicated support for all faculty, students, and administrators throughout the sandbox evaluation process.

Sandbox Intro Testing Document

A guide to getting started within the Brightspace Sandbox environment. This is where faculty will be able to find their login credentials,

links to key first-time user support materials, and this also includes my email in case they are having trouble accessing your Sandbox.

Launch into Brightspace Course

Once you log in, this course provides participants with the ability to select their role with a checklist, and then the appropriate content will be released to them.

This course content includes documentation, walkthrough videos, and relevant links to our Brightspace Community.

We will enroll all your users as students into this course.

The Connect Widget

The “Connect with Us” Widget can be found on the top level homepage:


When participants are not on the top-level homepage, it is still easy to access the Brightspace Community.

Search for support videos, or reach out to Brightspace directly. This link is configured across the Navbar.


University Support

If you want to reach out to the Valpo project team directly, you can access help with all of the sandboxes
by going to the main CITAL service desk and selecting “LMS Software Evaluation.”
