Taking attendance in courses is crucial for student safety.  Attendance can be tracked in Blackboard to include or exclude from the course grade.  Additionally, Blackboard attendance will be recorded in Starfish for advisors and others to monitor whether a student is attending class or not. 

This short video by Blackboard will assist in setting up and using the feature in Blackboard.
