How to review and approve time cards when give proxy access by another user (e.g. for vacation or sick coverage for another supervisor)

Step-by-step guide


  • When you are granted proxy access for another user you will receive an email letting you know

  • Log in to Self-Service using your own credentials
  • Select the Employee Menu
  • When you have been granted Proxy Access, on selecting the Employee Menu you will be asked if you want to proceed as yourself, or the person for whom you've been granted proxy access.
  • Select the person for whom you've been give proxy access

 

  • To change from your account TO a proxy access account, click on your userid in the upper right corner and select Change Proxy User

  • When you are acting as a proxy, a green bar will appear at the top of the screen letting you know that you are acting on behalf of the granting user.
  • You may select Change User to return to your own account.

  • Proceed to review and approve time cards, see directions here if needed.
  • When your proxy access has been changed or removed you will receive an email notification
