For Simple Syllabus Administrators, Designers, and Editors. In Simple Syllabus, the organization is a representation of our institution’s organizational chart or hierarchy. It is completely configurable. Templates: In addition to your master syllabus template at the top level of our organization, each organizational entity can have its own template which will be inherited by all of its children such as colleges and departments. This article will demonstrate adding a departmental-level template.

Step-by-step guide

click admin, select organization, and click add organization

Type the department name, select the parent organization

 Scroll to see the new department organization

click admin, select syllabus manager, and select the term

scroll down to view the new department and click the pencil icon to edit

add department specific content. Add a college picture banner and text. Click the insert image icon on the toolbar. Click drop image.

Select an image file and click open.

Format the inserted image.

Scroll to the bottom. Add an optional comment. Click submit.
