For Faculty: Simple Syllabus is a tool that integrates with Blackboard for a single sign-on. This article demonstrates the process to add a Simple Syllabus access button to a Blackboard Navigation Menu. This will the instructor access to viewing and editing the simple syllabus, and allow access for students to view, download, and print. Video tutorial option available at the bottom of the page.

Step-by-step guide

Blackboard

Point to the Plus Sign on the menu

Click Tool Link

Click Simple Syllabus

Choose Simple Syllabus

 Click Submit

Point to the left of the new Simple Syllabus button on the menu

Click and drag the Simple Syllabus button to a new location on the menu

Click on the down arrow to the right of the Simple Syllabus button to display the menu, then click show link to unhide it from students

Scroll down for editing sections

Click to submit when completed to publish the syllabus
