Under the “Calendars and Planners” section, select “Academic

Choose the current school year. (i.e. 2014-2015)
4. Print calendar. All days which the University is scheduled to be closed the Christopher Center will be closed as well.
5. Open Sierra Circulation.
6. Click on the “Admin” tab located on the top of the Sierra Circulation taskbar.
7. From the drop-down menu hover over “Parameters”.
8. From the next drop-down menu hover over “Circulation”.
9. From the next drop-down menu click “Days Closed”
10. Enter initials.
11. Remove past days' closed entries on location “C***” by clicking like and pressing delete.
12. Enter new days closed by clicking the “Append” button located on the upper left side.
13. Set location as “C****”.
14. Set Day Closed as noted on the calendar printed from the Registrar’s website as month and day. (i.e. 05-15)
15. Click the “OK” button located at the lower right of the Sierra screen.
16. Repeat steps 12-15 until all Days Closed have been entered.
17. Click on the “Close” folder icon located in the upper left of the Sierra screen.
18. Sierra will pop up a warning telling you data has been changed and asking if you wish to continue. Click the “YES” button if you wish to save your changes, or the “NO” button if not.

Open the Excel spreadsheet titled “Odd Hours” located here: S:\CCLS\Circulation & Media\Odd Hours
Open FOLIO
Find and click on Settings in the top right hand of the screen
Click on Calendar from the options on the left hand side.
Click on “All Calendars”
10. Highlight the calendar to be edited
11. A quick view of the the calendar chosen will pop up. In the top right hand side click on Actions and choose “edit” in the drop down folder.
12. Adjust the “Start Date” and “End Date” to align with the appropriate calendar dates Starting on a Sunday and ending on a Saturday
13. Under Hours of operation verify that days closed and hours open are still correct.
14. Under “exceptions” adjust dates and times as needed for the calendar that is being edited.
15. To adjust open or closed status click on the arrow and choose the correct one from the drop-down menu.
16. To adjust Start date click on the calendar icon and use the menu to find the correct date both Month and Year have up and down arrows that can be used for quicker navigation
17. To adjust “start time click on the clock icon change the time and am/pm if necessary and click on set time.
18. If new exceptions need to be made, click on “Add row”
19. Create an appropriate name for the exception
20. Choose either Open or Close
21. Add dates and times as needed.
22. Click on Save and Close.
23. If there any errors the calendar won’t close and errors will be noted in the appropriate area.
