NOTE:
For faculty use only

Having 4 years of courses stacked up in your Home tab on Blackboard can be inefficient.  The instructions below outline the process for hiding these courses.  They will still be available to you on the Courses tab.

Step-by-step guide on hiding courses in Blackboard

  1. Log into Blackboard Base Navigation at blackboard.valpo.edu
  2. Click on 'courses' in the left hand menu
  3. Click on the three dots on the course you want to hide
  4. Click hide course
    1. This will remove any courses you don't want on your phone page

  5. To view hidden courses:
    1. Click on 'courses' in the left hand menu
    2. Under filter click the drop down menu and select hidden courses
      1. Note: You can unhide a course by click the three dots again

Information Technology only keeps a backlog of 4 years.  Courses older than 4 years are removed permanently from the system.
