Problem
There is a desktop A shortcut on a user's computer desktop that is links to their the H: drive, sometimes it will no take them to their H: drivebut no longer works properly.
Solution
- Right-click on the Desktop shortcut.
- Select Properties
- The target field will probably read: \\storage\Home\username .*
- The Change the target field will need to point to the correct location.
- For Staff: \\homestead\STAFF_HOME\username .*
- For Faculty and Retirees: \\homestead\FAC_HOME\username .*
- Click OK and the shortcut will now be pointed point to the correct location.
*Use your ValpoNet password where the word username is indicated above.
