How to get started with your campus extension and voicemail.

Logging On

The first time you use the CallPilot system, you must change your password.

From Your Phone

  1. Press the Message button or dial the CallPilot system at ext 5300. You will hear, "Nortel Call Pilot…Mailbox?"

  2. Press the # key. You will hear, "Password?"

  3. Enter your temporary password: 111 plus 4-digit mailbox number (111XXXX)

  4. Press the # key.

From Another Phone

  1. Press the Message button or dial the CallPilot system at ext 5300. You will hear, "Nortel Call Pilot…Mailbox?"

    1. From off-campus, dial 219.464.5300.

  2. Enter your 4-digit mailbox number.

  3. Press the # key. You will hear, "Password?"

  4. Enter your temporary password: 111 plus 4-digit mailbox number (111XXXX)

  5. Press the # key.

CONTINUE ON WHILE YOU ARE LOGGED INTO CALLPILOT VOICE MAIL

  1. Press 84.
  2. Enter the temporary login password used above: 111 plus 4-digit mailbox number 111XXXX
  3. Press the # key.
  4. Enter your desired new password. It must be at least 4 digits and CANNOT be trivial. Longer passwords are more secure.
  5. Press the # key.
  6. Enter the new password again.
  7. Press the # key.

Your new password will be used after this to log into voicemail.
