Slate Student Success
Home Screen
When you login to Slate Student Success you will be at the Home Screen. From this point, additional menu options will be visible to the left corresponding to your roles and permissions.
Student 360 View
This page allows you to search for a student, and view their overall profile, demographics, course enrollments, and notes. This view also includes a direct link to the student’s Self-Service Advisee View where you can see further academic and advising details.
My Advisees
If you have assigned advisees, they will be listed on this page. There are also summary tabs at the top of the page that allow you to view a list of advisees by category, or current condition. For example, NCAA athletes can be viewed by sport, or students with a hold restricting registration. You can also see academic accommodations from this page, and may add an advising note. Advising notes may also be added in Self-Service, recommended best practice is to put notes specific to course selection or sequencing in Self-Service and more general notes in Slate.
My Classes
If you are teaching, or have taught courses this will show you each of your course sections. The default view will be for the current term, but you may select a different term from the filter dropdown. Upon clicking into a specific course you will see your course roster, and general course-related information about each student. If a student in your course section has an active academic accommodation a link will be in the final column that allows you to view the student’s accommodation letter.
