Use these instructions if a leave request needs to be changed after it has been submitted and/or approved by the supervisor.
Employee Instructions
If a request has been Submitted, but not Approved
Open the request
Click Unsubmit
This will return the request to Draft mode
At this point you can edit the existing request, and Submit -or- Delete the request
No supervisor action is needed for Unsubmit
If a request has been Approved and you need to change or remove the request
Click Withdraw. You can add Comments if further detail or explanation for your supervisor is needed.
The request will still show as Approved, but with a small indicator to the lower right that the Withdrawal has been requested.
A notification will be sent to your supervisor for them to approve the Withdrawal
If the withdrawal is approved, the request returns to a ‘Submitted’ status.
You can then either modify the request and resubmit - or-
Delete the request if no longer needed.
After your supervisor approves your withdrawal it will show as ‘Submitted’ on your Leave Request page. You will need to either modify or delete the request at this point to update your remaining available balance.
Supervisor Instructions for a Withdrawn Leave Request
When an employee Withdraws a previously approved leave request, you will receive a notification that your approval is needed.
Log into Self-Service (using the link in the email), and proceed as you normally would to approve a leave request.
You can use the filters to select for only Withdrawn requests
For the withdrawal request you will select Unapprove
This returns the request to a Submitted state for the employee, allowing them to either modify the request, or delete it.
