Creating Routing Records

To create a Routing record, you must be authorized for:

• function 083 (Routing list maintenance)

See Authorized Functions for more information.

To create a Routing record using Sierra Serials:

1. Change the current mode to Routing.

2. Choose New from the toolbar above the brief Routing record display. Sierra Serials opens the Add New Record window:

3. Enter data for the Routing record fields. See Display of Routing Records for descriptions of these fields.
   i. You cannot edit the Journal Count field.
   ii,You can enter substitution phrases in the Routing record fields.
   iii. You can choose Undo to cancel up to ten of your last editing actions and Redo to cancel up to ten of your last "undo" actions.

4. To print the record, choose Print.

5. Choose Save to create the Routing record.
