Steps to obtain, install, and use Virtru
- Submit a ticket with @valpo.edu email of the person to add, to the HelpDesk
- The IT department will contact Virtru regarding the license purchase
- The end user will need to install and activate the Virtru Chrome plugin. Instructions may be found here.
- Use this link for step-by-step instructions on how to send an encrypted email, once installed.
- Recipients do not need a Virtru license to read/open an email or attachment, but they will need Virtru Reader. Click here for details.
